Why cookies are used on visio.org?
With tracking cookie from for example Google or social networks, we collect information about the website visit. We can see which pages are visited most often, on which links are clicked and certain standard information is gathered. This includes IP addres (anonymized), type and language of the browser, the length of the bivisit and from where you reached or website.
With this information, Visio can see which parts of the site are visited a lot and where we see less visitors. With this information we can make sure that information is also easy to find for users. With the help of tracking cookies we can also show ads on social media based on your interests and visited pages.
Change your settings
You can decide yourself if you accept or ignore cookies. Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can change these settings, so the browser will deny them. For every browser and every computer you have to adapt these settings again. You can:
- allow cookies fromthe owner of the site that you are visiting (first party cookies)
- allow also the cookies from other parties than the owner of the site that you are visiting (third party cookies)
- block all cookies
- block all cookies, but make exceptions in your browser.
