Visio is the largest provider of care, education and rehabilitation services to people with visual impairment in the Netherlands. It is one of the world’s leaders in this sector.
Organizations in other countries in Europe and elsewhere provide similar types of services to Visio - and face similar challenges. We can learn a lot from each other and benefit from each other’s experience.
We do this through networks, projects, conferences and joint research activities. We also interact directly with individual organisations. That helps us build better services for the blind and visually impaired in the Netherlands and throughout the world.
Our International Knowledge Development and Innovation programme coordinates this work. Collaboration enables colleagues from throughout Visio to contribute their knowledge and skills and further develop their own expertise.
