Orientation & mobility
Partial sightedness and blindness affects people’s ability to travel independently. Visio focuses on a person’s specific mobility problems and then trains him/her to be able reach certain places on foot, by public transportation or by bicycle or scoot mobile.
Echolocation can improve orientation and mobility. Visio teaches clients this skill. It seems that echolocation can contribute greatly to improve orientation and mobility in partially sighted and blind people. That is why Visio offers its clients the possibility to become proficient in echolocation.
Mobility by car
Certain partially sighted people are still able to obtain or retain their driving licence. See more information on www.auto-mobiliteit.org
