3D printing

Using an innovation for the benefits of visual impaired people. Experiences with an 3D printer in the classroom.

Ingredients

- 1 3D printer
- 1 classroom full of visual impaired students
- 1 couple teachers
- 2 college students

Method of preparation

During 20 weeks a 3D printer is placed in a school of Royal Dutch Visio. A classroom of students experiences with college students and their teachers. They analyse the accessibility of the software and the usability of the printer itself. And the most important they research what they can do with 3D prints in their school curriculum. 

The results

Optimal deployment of printer in education of visual impaired students.
